International (or interstate) repatriations

Home is where the heart is. Sometimes to really honour someone who's passed, you want to get them back to a place of great personal significance. We can assist with the sometimes complicated task of conveying the person you love to the right destination in a manner which is safe and timely. What is usually included when arranging a repatriation?
  • Business hours transfer of deceased to our secure mortuary facility. Long-distance and after-hours transfers may incur a nominal fee.

  • Professional mortuary care.

  • Face-to-face meeting with one of our funeral professionals to complete the documentation, or phone and online contact as required.

  • Preparation and lodgement of all documentation.

  • Provision of standard-sized 'Regal" coffin.

  • Liaising with consular and embassy staff .

  • Provision of official QLD Death Certificate (3 original copies, 6 certified photocopies of original).

  • Professional embalming as required.

  • Hermetic sealing and preparation of coffin for transit and handling.

  • Liasing with receiving Funeral Directors at destination.

  • Deceased conveyed to cargo facility.

  • Air freight liaison and flight charges (this will vary significantly).

  • Follow-up support and advice.

  • No up-front payments required. Full 30 day account to give you time to finalise the invoice.

While most of the items above are compulsory requirements, there are many factors which can affect the overall cost of a repatriation - such as destination, transportation and cargo costs, coffin choice, etc.
